Early life and family
Shivdeep Lande was born on 29 August 1976 in Akola district of Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. He was born in a Maharashtrian farmer family. His father was a farmer who used to produce a lot of produce. Lande married Mamta Shivtare on 2 February 2015, they have a daughter named Arha. Mamta Shivtare is the daughter of former Minister of State for Water Resources and Water Conservation Vijay Shivtare, and also the Guardian Minister of Satara district in Maharashtra.
Education and Career
Lande did his schooling from Saraswati Vidya Mandir High School in his hometown Akola, and obtained his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering, Shegaon, Maharashtra, India. Shivdeep joined the Indian Police Service after completing his training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad. Although he was first selected for the Indian Revenue Services, he chose the Indian Police Service to end corruption and build a beautiful India. He later joined the Indian Police Service in 2006.
