The Ministry of Defense said that the National Salute should be done in a disciplined manner when the National Flag is hoisted by the Prime Minister. A formal tribute was presented. The 77th Independence anniversary has been celebrated in the country as part of the government’s public participation approach, in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen saluting the tricolor along with two women officers at the Red Fort, the capital of Delhi.
